About the role

Reed Education is partnering with secondary schools across Reading, Wokingham, West Berkshire and surrounding areas to fill a range of teaching vacancies for the September start. The roles include permanent posts, long‑term supply contracts and day‑to‑day supply assignments across all secondary subjects.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess curriculum for assigned year groups.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
• Provide pastoral support and contribute to a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues on whole‑school initiatives and professional development.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.

Required profile

• Qualified with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or eligible as an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
• Subject expertise across any secondary discipline.
• Flexibility to start in September and adapt to permanent, long‑term or day‑to‑day supply arrangements.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality education in a school setting.
