About the role
Reed Education is partnering with secondary schools across Reading, Wokingham and West Berkshire to fill a range of teaching vacancies for the upcoming September term. The roles are open to qualified secondary teachers, early‑career teachers and subject specialists seeking permanent, long‑term supply or day‑to‑day supply contracts.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess lessons across the secondary curriculum.
- Manage classroom behaviour and create an inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and school initiatives.
- Provide timely feedback to students and maintain accurate records.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development and school events.
Required profile
- Qualified with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or eligible for ECT status.
- Experience or training in secondary education across any subject area.
- Flexibility to work on a permanent, long‑term supply or day‑to‑day supply basis.
- Commitment to delivering high‑quality education and supporting student progress.
