Secondary Teacher – Subject Specialist (All Subjects) – Liverpool

About the role

We are seeking qualified secondary teachers to deliver high‑impact lessons across all subjects in Liverpool secondary schools. This temporary, full‑time assignment offers the chance to work with a range of schools while preparing students for their GCSE examinations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver structured lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Break down complex concepts into accessible steps for diverse ability levels.
• Prepare students thoroughly for GCSE assessments.
• Maintain a focused, positive classroom environment.
• Mark classwork regularly and provide constructive feedback.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) with a specialist degree in the relevant subject.
• Strong knowledge of the UK secondary national curriculum.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
• Early‑career teachers (ECTs) are welcome.
