Secondary Teacher – Subject Specialist (Full‑time Temporary) – Chester

About the role
We are seeking qualified secondary teachers to join high‑performing schools in Chester on a full‑time, temporary basis. The role involves delivering engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 and preparing students for GCSE examinations.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver structured, high‑impact lessons for your specialist subject.
- Break down complex concepts into clear, accessible steps for all ability levels.
- Prepare students thoroughly for upcoming GCSE assessments.
- Maintain a focused, positive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Mark classwork regularly and provide constructive feedback to track pupil progress.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) with a specialist degree in the relevant subject.
- Strong knowledge of the UK secondary national curriculum.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
