Secondary Teacher – Subject Specialist (Sefton, Merseyside)

About the role
Randstad Education is recruiting passionate secondary teachers to work across schools in the Sefton area. You will deliver high‑energy, interactive lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping pupils achieve strong GCSE results.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver structured lessons in your specialist subject.
- Break down complex concepts into clear, accessible steps for all ability levels.
- Prepare students for GCSE examinations and ongoing assessments.
- Maintain a focused, positive classroom environment.
- Mark classwork regularly and provide constructive feedback.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) with a degree in the relevant subject.
- Strong knowledge of the UK secondary national curriculum.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Enthusiasm for delivering engaging, results‑driven lessons.

- Subject‑specific expertise (e.g., STEM, Humanities, English, Languages, Creative Arts).
