Secondary Teacher – Various Subjects (Wirral)

About the role

We are seeking qualified secondary teachers to deliver high‑impact lessons across a range of subjects in schools on the Wirral peninsula. The role is temporary, full‑time and offers immediate placement for the upcoming September term.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver structured lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils.
• Break down complex subject concepts into clear, accessible steps for all ability levels.
• Prepare students for GCSE examinations and ongoing assessments.
• Maintain a focused, positive classroom environment.
• Mark classwork regularly and provide constructive feedback.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) with a specialist degree in the relevant subject.
• Strong knowledge of the UK secondary national curriculum.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) and registration on the Update Service.
• Early‑career teachers (ECTs) are welcome.
