About the role
Protocol Education is recruiting qualified secondary teachers for a range of subjects across schools in Newcastle, North Tyneside and Northumberland. Positions start in September and are offered on a full‑time or part‑time basis, with the aim of providing long‑term placements that can lead to permanent contracts.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in your subject area.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and share best practices.
- Support the pastoral development of pupils and contribute to a positive school culture.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS or equivalent.
- Early‑career teachers (ECTs) seeking their first placement are also welcome.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire learners.
- Commitment to inclusive, high‑quality teaching.
