Secondary Teachers – Summer Term & September Opportunities

About the role

Reed is partnering with secondary schools and trusts across Kent and Medway to provide qualified teachers for the Summer Term and upcoming September placements. The role covers any subject area at secondary level, offering both full‑time and part‑time options.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver curriculum-aligned lessons to secondary students across a range of subjects.
• Prepare and mark assessments, providing constructive feedback.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a safe learning environment.
• Collaborate with school leadership and fellow teachers to support student progress.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
• Experience teaching at secondary level, preferably across multiple subjects.
• Flexibility to work during the Summer Term and/or start in September.
• Commitment to professional standards and continuous improvement.
