About the role
This is a full‑time, fixed‑term position from September to December 2026 in a welcoming mixed secondary school in Ealing, West London. You will support pupils across Key Stage 3 (and some Key Stage 4) with learning, focus, and behaviour management. The role offers training and close collaboration with teachers and the SEN co‑ordinator.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support to pupils with diverse learning needs.
- Help students maintain focus during lessons and complete classroom tasks.
- Assist in managing emotions and behaviour, promoting a positive learning environment.
- Work primarily with KS3 students (11‑14 years) and occasionally with KS4 learners.
- Collaborate with teachers and the school’s SEN coordinator, receiving training as required.
Required profile
- Previous experience supporting teenagers in youth settings, community groups, or personal life.
- Proactive, committed, and professional attitude with a ‘can‑do’ mindset.
- Willingness to work across the school and adapt to varied pupil needs.
