About the role

We are partnering with a range of secondary schools across Berkshire to recruit enthusiastic Teaching Assistants for a September start. This term‑time only position offers the chance to support young learners in a dynamic classroom environment while gaining valuable experience in secondary education.

Key responsibilities

• Assist teachers in delivering lessons across a variety of subjects.
• Provide one‑to‑one, small‑group or whole‑class support to students who need extra help.
• Promote positive behaviour and encourage student engagement.
• Support pupils with additional educational needs as required.
• Help create an inclusive, supportive learning atmosphere.

Required profile

• Genuine passion for working with young people.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Patient, flexible and positive attitude.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
• Previous experience with children is desirable but not essential.
