Security Driver – Freight Forwarding (Heathrow)

About the role

Freightserve is seeking reliable Security Drivers to handle high‑value shipments for a niche freight forwarding operation based near Heathrow. You will be responsible for the safe collection, transport, and delivery of freight while maintaining strict security and health‑and‑safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate 3.5‑ton Class 1 company vehicles for collection and delivery of freight.
• Secure goods, verify paperwork, and ensure accurate loading/unloading.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and complete defect reports.
• Scan and upload proof‑of‑delivery (POD) information promptly.
• Communicate collection and delivery updates via email or telephone.
• Represent the company with a professional appearance and high customer‑service standards.
• Adhere to site security, health & safety regulations and report any breaches.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence with experience driving a 3.5 t vehicle.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines.
• Team‑player attitude and professional appearance.
• Willingness to undergo a basic DBS check, reference verification and driving licence check.
