Security Engineer

About the role

Intigriti is looking for a Security Engineer to design, implement and maintain robust security controls across its corporate IT environment and platform. You will work closely with IT and development teams to protect data, infrastructure and employees from evolving cyber threats.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee infrastructure security, ensuring confidentiality, integrity and availability of company data.
• Collaborate with the IT System Administrator to enhance network and system security.
• Develop, maintain and execute incident response plans and run day‑to‑day SOC operations, including monitoring, triage and investigation.
• Assess the threat landscape using MITRE ATT&CK and MITRE D3FEND, identify detection gaps and improve SIEM coverage.
• Connect and maintain log sources, write and tune SIEM detection rules, and document detection logic and playbooks.
• Promote security awareness through training and communication initiatives.
• Report on security posture and support ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance efforts.

Required profile

• Passionate about building defenses against modern cyber threats.
• Strategic thinker with strong technical expertise in cybersecurity.
• Experience operating a Security Operations Centre (SOC) and handling incident response.
