Security Manager

About the role

Parkdean Resorts is seeking an inspiring Security Manager to lead its dedicated security team at the Newquay holiday park. You will be responsible for creating a safe, welcoming environment for guests while overseeing day‑to‑day security operations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan resource levels and allocate security staff to patrol the park effectively.
• Ensure compliance with security assignment instructions and manage incident escalation and reporting.
• Oversee security technology, CCTV systems, and maintain accurate security records.
• Conduct unbiased investigations, produce detailed statements and reports.
• Identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities and risks.
• Liaise with local enforcement authorities for inspections and investigations.
• Promote security awareness in management and regional meetings.
• Lead regular 1:1s, team briefings, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a security team.
• Current SIA licence (Minimum Door Supervision) and a full clean UK manual driving licence.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate and influence.
• Commercial awareness to manage budgets and rotas.
• Ability to thrive in a high‑pressure, fast‑paced environment.
