Security Officer (Car Owner Driver) – Mon‑Fri

About the role

We are looking for a professional Security Officer to join our team in Waltham Abbey on a Monday‑to‑Friday schedule. The role requires a valid SIA licence, ownership of a car, and the ability to manage site security, access control and visitor reception.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV and other surveillance equipment to maintain continuous site security.
• Carry out regular patrols and inspections, reporting any suspicious activity or breaches.
• Manage reception duties, verify identification and control access for visitors, contractors and staff.
• Maintain accurate vehicle registration logs and oversee secure receipt of deliveries.
• Support emergency procedures, including fire evacuations and incident response.
• Complete daily reports, record alarms, fire drills and security incidents, and ensure compliance with health & safety legislation.
• Collaborate with the security team and management to improve security procedures.

Required profile

• Valid SIA licence holder.
• Own a reliable car for site duties.
• Experience in security monitoring, access control and site patrols.

• Full‑time hours: 9:00 am – 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
• Competitive salary between £30,000 and £32,000 per year.
