Security Officer – Corporate Site (Oxford)

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Security Officer to join a twelve‑person team protecting a large corporate site in Cowley, Oxford. The role operates on a 4‑on‑4‑off roster, covering both daytime and night shifts, and requires a strong focus on safety and access control.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol the premises and perform regular locking and unlocking of buildings.
• Monitor CCTV systems and respond promptly to alarms.
• Control site access, check identification and manage visitor enquiries.
• Handle incidents, complete incident reports and support emergency procedures.
• Maintain accurate logs of security activities and hand over duties during shift changes.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of security experience (preferred).
• Ability to undergo BS 7858 security screening with a five‑year verifiable employment or education history.
• Valid SIA licence and a full driving licence.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and overtime as required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CCTV monitoring and access‑control systems.
• Strong observational and reporting abilities.
