Security Officer (Nights)

About the role

Join the Operations Team at Emirates Old Trafford and help keep one of the UK’s most prestigious sports venues safe during night shifts. You will work alongside the Safety Management Team to deliver access control, monitoring and loss‑prevention services across the stadium and its partner premises.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a vigilant, professional presence throughout the site, monitoring staff, visitors and contractors.
• Control access to restricted areas and operate security equipment as required.
• Carry out regular patrols and inspections in line with operational procedures.
• Monitor CCTV systems on match and non‑match days, identifying and responding to suspicious activity.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, disturbances and medical incidents, escalating to the Safety Team, police or emergency services when needed.
• Identify and report risks, hazards and maintenance issues.
• Accurately record incidents, accidents and policy breaches.
• Participate in structured shift handovers and complete required administrative duties.

Required profile

• Valid, in‑date SIA Door Supervisor licence.
• Level 2 Award in CCTV Operations.
• Previous security experience in a high‑footfall environment such as a sports stadium, entertainment venue or shopping centre.
• Ability to work night shifts on a 4‑days‑on, 4‑days‑off roster.
