Security Officer – Split Shift (Twickenham)

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Security Officer to provide a visible security presence at a commercial property in Twickenham. The role is split‑shift, covering early mornings and early evenings from Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Open and prepare the premises each morning, ensuring all security measures are in place.
• Patrol the site during designated hours to deter suspicious behaviour and protect assets.
• Man the reception area until the receptionist arrives and take over reception duties in the evening.
• Secure the building at night by switching off lights, setting alarms and locking doors.
• Record all activities in the assignment log and report any incidents to Head Office.

Required profile

• Hold a valid SIA licence and be able to display it at all times.
• Present a professional appearance in full uniform as per company handbook.
• Arrive at least 15 minutes before shift start for handover and briefing.
• Be trustworthy, reliable and able to work independently.

Required skills

• Ability to follow detailed security procedures and site instructions.
• Strong observational skills to identify and challenge unusual activity.
