About the role
Working at Barton Peveril Sixth Form College as a Security Patrol Officer means being a visible, approachable presence for our 16‑19‑year‑old students. The role combines vigilant site security with a strong focus on customer service to help create a safe, welcoming and inclusive campus environment.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor college premises and patrol the site to deter and respond to security incidents.
- Provide a friendly, visible point of contact for students, staff and visitors.
- Support students as they transition into adulthood by ensuring a safe and inclusive atmosphere.
- Collaborate with college staff to promote student wellbeing and safety.
