Security Practice Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Security Practice Lead to shape and expand the managed security services portfolio for a leading UK Managed Service Provider. Based in the South East on a hybrid schedule, you will work closely with delivery, sales and client teams to design, productise and deliver security solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and develop the security services portfolio, including MDR, SIEM, identity, compliance and AI‑SOC offerings.
• Productise services with clear scope, SLA and pricing and keep the portfolio up‑to‑date.
• Lead delivery of managed security services, create standardised processes and drive automation in security workflows.
• Support onboarding of new security customers and act as escalation point for incidents.
• Partner with the sales team on security‑led opportunities, conduct technical discovery, produce solution designs and respond to bids.
• Provide senior technical guidance across delivery, sales and client engagements and maintain vendor relationships (Microsoft, Tenable).

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and delivering managed security services in an MSP or MSSP environment.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with MDR, SIEM (Microsoft Sentinel preferred), identity and endpoint security.
• Experience with vulnerability management tools such as Tenable and remediation workflows.
• Background working with mid‑market UK organisations or regulated sectors.
