Security Systems Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Security Systems Engineer to join a busy, well‑established company in Banstead. Working closely with the Security Manager, you will design, install, commission and maintain a range of electronic security solutions across multiple client sites.

Key responsibilities

• Design, install and commission CCTV, intercom and intrusion detection systems.
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics and system specifications.
• Carry out maintenance, servicing, fault‑finding and repairs on existing security installations.
• Conduct site surveys and recommend suitable security solutions.
• Use hand and power tools safely during installation and maintenance work.
• Troubleshoot system issues applying electrical knowledge.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, modifications and service visits.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures and industry regulations.
• Travel to customer sites as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience installing and maintaining electronic security systems.
• Clean UK driving licence.
• Professional, customer‑focused attitude and ability to work independently.
