Security Team Leader

About the role

We are seeking a Security Team Leader to manage security operations on a 24/7 shift at a large commercial site in Sandwich. You will ensure a safe environment, supervise on‑site security officers and respond swiftly to incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and support Security Officers assigned to your shift.
• Conduct regular site patrols and monitor CCTV, alarms and access‑control systems.
• Respond to emergencies, alarm activations and any security incidents.
• Investigate incidents, produce accurate reports and coordinate with emergency services, contractors, tenants and visitors.
• Carry out routine site inspections and promote a secure environment.
• Maintain high standards of customer service while upholding professional security protocols.

Required profile

• Proven supervisory or team‑leader experience within the security industry.
• Valid SIA Door Supervisor (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) licence.
• Full, clean manual UK driving licence.
• Ability to work a rotating 24/7 shift pattern, including nights, weekends and Bank Holidays.
• Right to work in the UK and reside within a 45‑minute commute to Sandwich.
