Self-Employed Financial Planner – £80k+ earnings

About the role

We are supporting an established independent financial planning firm that is looking for an experienced Self‑Employed IFA to take over and grow an existing client portfolio centred around the M25 area. The role combines a guaranteed income base with the opportunity to generate additional earnings through new business leads and ongoing fees.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop an existing book of business valued at approximately £270,000 annual income.
• Provide financial advice to clients both virtually and in person, adhering to regulatory standards.
• Leverage the firm’s regular webinars and seminars to generate new client leads.
• Collaborate with in‑house admin and paraplanning teams to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Track and report on new business acquisition and fee income for bonus calculations.

Required profile

• Qualified financial planner with at least a DipFA certification.
• Proven experience working as an independent financial adviser.
• Demonstrated ability to grow a client portfolio and meet revenue targets.
• Strong understanding of UK financial planning regulations.
