Self Employed Mortgage Broker

About the role

This is a home‑based, self‑employed mortgage broker position with regular visits to the Essex office. You will work within a high‑performing brokerage, advising clients on specialist lending products such as buy‑to‑let mortgages and bridging finance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advice to clients on a range of specialist mortgage products.
• Generate new business and maintain strong client relationships.
• Collaborate closely with a case manager who handles administrative and documentation tasks.
• Attend the Essex office as needed for meetings and team activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of mortgage broking experience.
• CeMAP qualified or equivalent certification.
• Experience in specialist lending markets such as BTL or bridging finance.
• Proactive, sales‑driven attitude with strong relationship‑building abilities.
