Self-Employed Swimming Instructor – Luton

About the role

We are seeking a self‑employed Swimming Instructor to join our Luton club. You will work with members of all ages, delivering one‑to‑one and group swimming sessions that help them reach their personal water confidence and fitness goals.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and evaluate swimming lessons for children, teens and adults.
• Conduct both individual and group sessions, adapting techniques to different skill levels.
• Monitor safety in the pool area and ensure compliance with club policies.
• Provide feedback and progress reports to members and their families.
• Promote a welcoming and inclusive environment that encourages regular participation.

Required profile

• Hold a Swim England Level 2 Swimming Teacher qualification or an equivalent certification.
• Passion for health, fitness and water‑based activities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently as a contractor.
