Semi Senior Accountant

About the role
Grafton Banks Finance is seeking a Semi Senior Accountant to join its established practice in Haywards Heath. The role offers the chance to work with a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries, supporting both statutory and advisory accounting functions.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare statutory financial statements from source records and trial balances.
- Compile corporate and personal tax returns.
- Support audit assignments and produce management information reports.
- Assist clients with cloud‑based accounting products, including setup and training.
- Draft formal correspondence, P11Ds, and liaise with senior and junior staff members.
Required profile
- Calm, capable individual with prior practice exposure.
- Studying or qualified under ACA/ACCA, or qualified by experience.
- Strong knowledge of FRS 102 and FRS 105.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, logical, analytical, and detail‑oriented.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, proactive self‑starter.
