Semi Senior Accountant – Part Qualified

About the role

This part‑qualified Semi Senior Accountant position offers a varied workload across audit and accounts, giving you exposure to a diverse client base. You will work closely with senior staff while also managing your own assignments, benefiting from a modern, supportive firm that values professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Support audit assignments both on‑site and remotely
• Prepare statutory accounts for a range of clients
• Assist with bookkeeping and management accounts
• Contribute to tax compliance work as required
• Review junior team members' work and provide guidance
• Build strong client relationships and handle day‑to‑day queries
• Collaborate with managers to deliver high‑quality service
• Support and mentor trainees within the team

Required profile

• Part‑qualified ACCA or ACA with several exams completed
• Recent experience in an accountancy practice
• Exposure to audit, accounts preparation, and general compliance work
• Strong understanding of current accounting standards and regulations
• Proactive approach with good commercial awareness
• Comfortable communicating with clients and colleagues
• Positive, team‑oriented mindset with a willingness to learn
