About the role

This permanent position is based in Stroud and focuses on delivering high‑quality accounting services to a portfolio of clients. You will be responsible for preparing key financial documents and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare financial statements for client accounts.
  • Compile and submit tax returns and VAT returns.
  • Produce management accounts for a diverse client portfolio.

Required profile

  • Qualified with AAT, ACA, ACCA or an equivalent accounting qualification.
  • Previous experience working within an accountancy practice.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to build client relationships.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks.
  • High attention to detail and a client‑focused service mindset.
