Semi-Senior Auditor

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Semi‑Senior Auditor to join the Accounting & Finance team of a medium‑sized professional services firm in Sittingbourne. The role involves performing financial statement audits, ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting the delivery of high‑quality audit services to a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive financial statement audits for a range of clients.
• Ensure compliance with applicable auditing standards and regulations.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and documentation.
• Assist in planning, scoping and execution of audit engagements.
• Collaborate with the audit team to identify improvement opportunities.
• Communicate with clients to understand their business operations and address audit findings.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends, standards and regulatory changes.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA part‑qualified.
• Previous experience in an auditing role.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in accounting software.
