Semi Skilled CNC Machinist – Trainee Position

About the role

We are looking for a motivated trainee or semi‑skilled CNC Machinist to join a leading subcontract CNC machining company serving sectors such as chemical, pharmaceutical, oil & gas, subsea, and food & beverage. The role offers full training and a clear pathway into a long‑term engineering manufacturing career.

Key responsibilities

• Set‑up, operate and monitor CNC machines to produce precision components.
• Interpret technical drawings and work orders.
• Assist with basic CNC programming and tool selection.
• Maintain machine cleanliness and perform routine checks.
• Follow health, safety and quality standards at all times.

Required profile

• Strong interest in engineering manufacturing and CNC technology.
• Background in a related area (e.g., mechanical work, technical training) or a desire to start a career in CNC machining.
• Willingness to learn and develop new technical skills.
• Ability to work Monday‑Friday on‑site in Yeadon.
