About the role
Qualiteach Education Group Ltd is seeking an experienced SEN Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a specialist post‑16 SEN school in the Heathrow area. The role is full‑time and starts as soon as possible, supporting learners aged 16‑19 with autism, learning disabilities and complex needs.
Key responsibilities
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and curriculum content.
- Lead small‑group interventions focused on academic, social and independence skills.
- Provide occasional cover for classes when required.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to tailor support plans for individual students.
Required profile
- Proven experience working in a SEN environment, preferably with post‑16 learners.
- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
- Ability to start the role immediately.
Required skills
- Knowledge of strategies for supporting autism and severe learning difficulties.
- Experience delivering small‑group interventions.
