About the role
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Humanities Teacher to join our specialist school in Elephant & Castle, London. The role is full‑time and permanent, starting in September, and focuses on delivering humanities education to students aged 11‑16 with SEM‑related needs.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess humanities lessons in line with the UK curriculum.
- Provide tailored support for students with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) requirements.
- Collaborate with the wider teaching team to develop inclusive strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and produce regular reports.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development and school events.
Required profile
- Proven experience teaching students with SEMH or other SEN needs.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to a full‑time, permanent position starting in September.
