SEN Job Coach – Youth Employment Advisor

About the role
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Job Coach to join our team in High Wycombe. You will work with 16‑24‑year‑olds who have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), helping them develop the skills, confidence and workplace readiness needed to secure paid employment.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and approach local employers to arrange supported work‑experience placements.
- Advise employers on necessary adjustments and provide guidance on supporting neurodiverse individuals.
- Support young people on the job, assisting with tasks, workplace skills and day‑to‑day challenges.
- Deliver travel training to ensure participants can independently commute to and from work.
- Maintain regular communication with families, keeping them informed and involved.
Required profile
- Understanding of the challenges faced by neurodiverse young people.
- Confidence in building relationships with employers and stakeholders.
- Relevant experience in roles such as Employment Advisor, Job Coach, Careers Advisor, Recruitment Consultant, Youth Support Worker or Employer Engagement Consultant.
- Ability to engage, encourage and support young people into sustainable employment.
