SEN Learning Support Assistant – Specialist School (Slough)

About the role
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist school in Slough. You will work closely with teachers and a multidisciplinary team to support pupils with a variety of additional needs, ensuring they receive tailored educational experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support to students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and complex learning difficulties.
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and adapting resources.
- Promote the social, emotional and academic development of each pupil.
- Collaborate with the wider multidisciplinary team to implement individual education plans.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and interventions.
Required profile
- Previous experience working in an SEN setting or supporting children with additional needs.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service is desirable.
- Commitment to a full‑time, long‑term placement with an ASAP start.
