SEN Secondary Teacher – London Schools (Supply/Contract)

About the role

Hays Education is recruiting qualified SEN Secondary Teachers to work across specialist schools in South and West London. You will deliver inclusive, differentiated lessons for pupils with autism spectrum conditions, SEMH needs and complex learning difficulties, on a supply, long‑term or temp‑to‑perm basis.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for primary and secondary pupils in SEN or specialist provisions.
• Adapt curriculum content to meet the diverse academic, social and emotional needs of learners.
• Collaborate closely with SEN teams, teaching assistants and support staff to ensure consistent pupil progress.
• Maintain accurate records, assessments and contribute to individual education plans.
• Support behaviour management and promote a positive, safe learning environment.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a primary or secondary SEN setting.
• Strong behaviour management skills.
• Willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS on the update service.
