SEN/ SEND Tutor – Flexible Teaching Roles in Berkshire

About the role
Join a purpose‑driven team that supports young people with special educational needs (SEN) and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges. You will deliver flexible, trauma‑informed tuition in Maths, English or Science to pupils ranging from KS1 to KS5, either in‑person, online or in a hybrid format.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver personalised tutoring sessions for learners with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD or PMLD.
- Adapt teaching materials to suit individual needs and learning styles.
- Maintain accurate records of progress and communicate updates to schools or local authorities.
- Provide a safe, supportive learning environment in line with safeguarding policies.
- Collaborate with the SEND Support Team and participate in CPD activities.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years teaching experience, preferably with SEND or SEMH pupils.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
- Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
