About the role
Hays Education is recruiting qualified teachers to work in a specialist SEN SLD school serving primary and secondary pupils in the Southwark area. You will join a supportive specialist setting that caters for pupils with ASC, SEMH and complex learning difficulties.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver differentiated, inclusive lessons for primary and secondary students.
- Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development.
- Collaborate closely with SEN teams, support staff and external specialists.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to individual education plans.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience in a primary or secondary SEN environment.
- Strong behaviour management skills.
- Willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS on the update service.
