SEN Student Support Assistant – 3 days/week (Temporary)

About the role

The college is seeking a dedicated SEN Student Support Assistant to work three days a week, providing one‑to‑one and small‑group support to learners with additional needs. The role is based at the Hounslow site from 8:45 am to 3:30 pm and includes holiday pay.

Key responsibilities

• Assist SEN pupils with their college work, focusing on English and Maths.
• Deliver personalised support in the Inclusion department, either individually or in small groups.
• Maintain accurate records of learner progress and follow the college’s safeguarding procedures.
• Collaborate with the wider SEN team to ensure a high‑quality educational experience.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or Support Worker with young adults or children with additional needs.
• Right to work in the UK and ability to pass an enhanced DBS check.
• Flexibility, teamwork orientation and knowledge of safeguarding practices.
• Immediate availability and willingness to work a flexible schedule.

Required skills

• No specific technical skills required.
