SEN Teacher – Full‑time, Central Manchester

About the role
We are seeking a passionate SEN Teacher to join a specialist educational setting in Central Manchester. The role starts in September 2026 and offers the chance to support pupils with complex special educational needs in a supportive, inclusive environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of pupils with complex SEND.
- Adapt lesson plans, resources and teaching strategies to ensure accessibility for all learners.
- Create a positive, structured and nurturing classroom atmosphere.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists and other professionals to promote student progress.
- Monitor, assess and record student achievement and development.
- Support pupils' academic, social, emotional and communication needs.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching children with complex special educational needs.
- Ability to differentiate and adapt lessons for a range of abilities.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Patient, creative and flexible approach to teaching.
- Commitment to inclusion and positive outcomes for all learners.
