SEN Teacher – Full‑time role in Gravesend

About the role
Academics, in partnership with a specialist SEND school in Gravesend, are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join their team on a long‑term basis from September, with the potential to become permanent. The role offers a supportive, child‑centred environment and strong teamwork.
Key responsibilities
- Work with pupils who have a range of needs including ASD, communication difficulties and complex needs.
- Teach small class sizes with strong TA support.
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to EHCPs.
- Collaborate closely with SENCOs, therapists and support staff.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Minimum of 1 year UK teaching experience.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
