About the role

Outcomes First Group is seeking a passionate SEN Teacher to join Manor Wood School in Bishopsworth, Bristol. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver personalised learning experiences that empower pupils with additional needs to achieve their full potential.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons across the secondary curriculum, adapting content to individual learning needs.
• Create a calm, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment where pupils feel safe and motivated.
• Monitor progress, use assessment data to shape personalised learning pathways, and celebrate achievements.
• Collaborate closely with teaching assistants, therapists, families, and the wider school team to provide holistic support.
• Contribute ideas to curriculum development, enrichment activities, and the school’s continuous improvement.
• Champion safeguarding and promote the wellbeing of every child.

Required profile

• Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Demonstrates genuine passion for supporting children and young people with SEND.
• Experience in secondary education, preferably within a specialist or inclusive setting.
