About the role
We are seeking a qualified SEN Teacher to join a specialist Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) school in Hillingdon. This full‑time, long‑term position involves delivering tailored lessons that enable pupils with complex needs to reach their full potential.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver differentiated lessons for students with Severe Learning Difficulties, Autism and additional learning needs.
- Collaborate closely with teaching assistants, therapists and parents to create a supportive, inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, maintaining accurate records and adjusting interventions as required.
- Contribute to the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and school procedures.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
- Proven experience teaching in an SEN or SLD setting.
- Ability to start as soon as possible.
- Commitment to a full‑time, long‑term role.
