SEN Teacher – St Albans Primary School (KS2)

About the role

Are you a passionate and creative teacher committed to supporting children with complex needs? You will teach a small KS2 class of seven pupils with ASC, SLD and PMLD, delivering engaging, differentiated lessons focused on life skills and independence. Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that develop life skills and independence for pupils with ASC, SLD and PMLD.
• Use creative, tailored approaches to meet a wide range of complex needs and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
• Monitor and track pupil progress through continuous, personalised assessment and adjust plans as required.
• Apply strong behaviour management strategies to create a positive and safe learning environment.
• Collaborate with a supportive, experienced team and contribute to the school’s professional development initiatives.
