About the role
Prospero Teaching is recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a young boy with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in a mainstream primary school in West London. The position is full‑time, Monday to Friday, term‑time only, and runs until July 2027.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver dedicated 1:1 assistance to the assigned pupil, implementing individualized strategies.
- Collaborate closely with the class teacher to support lesson delivery and classroom management.
- Monitor the pupil’s progress and report observations to senior staff.
- Ensure all safeguarding procedures are followed and maintain accurate records.
Required profile
- Minimum of one year experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant in the UK.
- Current safeguarding training completed within the last year.
- Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- Two professional references covering the last two years.
