SEN Teaching Assistant – 1:1 Support for KS2 ASD Pupil

About the role
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide one‑to‑one support for a Key Stage 2 pupil with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in a primary school in Enfield. The role is full‑time, long‑term and starts as soon as possible.
Key responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 support to a KS2 pupil with ASD throughout the school day.
- Assist the pupil in accessing the curriculum and maintaining focus.
- Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver targeted interventions.
- Implement strategies that promote academic progress and emotional wellbeing.
Required profile
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN, preferably ASD, in a primary school setting.
- Ability to work closely with teachers and the SENCO.
- Strong nurturing and adaptable attitude.
- Reliable transportation to Enfield and ability to start ASAP.
