SEN Teaching Assistant – Acton (Full‑time, ASAP start)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Acton. The role starts as soon as possible and is full‑time, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs in a nurturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support to students with ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and complex learning needs.
• Collaborate closely with class teachers and therapy teams to deliver tailored interventions.
• Encourage independence and help students access the curriculum safely.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and support activities.

Required profile

• Previous experience working in an SEN setting.
• Enhanced DBS check on the update service.
• Commitment to supporting students aged 4‑19 with complex needs.

Required skills

• Understanding of autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, and speech‑language challenges.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and therapeutic staff.
• Strong organisational and record‑keeping abilities.
