SEN Teaching Assistant – ARP Room Lead

About the role
This full‑time position supports a highly regarded primary school in Camden, leading the Additional Resource Provision (ARP) classroom from September. You will create a nurturing, structured environment for pupils with autism and other communication difficulties, helping them reach their full potential.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the day‑to‑day running of the ARP classroom.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, therapists and external professionals.
- Deliver targeted interventions and structured learning activities.
- Monitor pupil progress and contribute to assessments, reviews and planning.
Required profile
- Essential early years experience.
- Significant experience supporting children with special educational needs, particularly autism and complex needs.
- Proven ability to lead small groups and support colleagues.
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
- Passion for inclusive education and making a difference.
