SEN Teaching Assistant – Autism Support (Camden)

About the role
This full‑time position supports a primary school in Camden with pupils who have autism and additional communication needs. The role starts in September and runs Monday to Friday, 8:30 am‑4:00 pm.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group assistance to children with autism inside and outside the classroom.
- Implement individualized support plans alongside experienced SEN professionals.
- Help pupils develop communication, social and academic skills.
- Monitor progress and report observations to teachers and specialists.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a SEN or autism‑support setting is preferred.
- Patient, resilient and nurturing attitude.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for helping children achieve their potential.
