About the role
This full‑time position supports children with additional needs in a welcoming primary school in Bristol (BS4). You will work closely with teachers and support staff to help pupils achieve their academic, social and emotional potential.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support for pupils with SEN.
- Assist teachers in delivering inclusive, engaging lessons.
- Support pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and communication difficulties.
- Encourage positive behaviour and maintain a safe learning environment.
- Collaborate with SENCOs, teachers and other support staff.
Required profile
- Previous experience supporting children or young people with additional needs.
- Patient, compassionate and able to build strong relationships.
- Positive, adaptable attitude and passion for making a difference.
- Relevant qualifications and training for an SEN role.
