SEN Teaching Assistant – Full-Time (Orsett)

About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join welcoming primary schools in Orsett. The role supports pupils with Special Educational Needs across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, helping them achieve academic and social progress.
Key responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small‑group support for children with ASD, ADHD, speech & language, SEMH and learning difficulties.
- Assist pupils during lessons, break times and extracurricular activities.
- Support behaviour management, emotional regulation and independence.
- Monitor progress and give feedback to teachers and SENCOs.
- Facilitate access to learning activities and help with organisation and concentration.
Required profile
- Minimum of 1 year experience working with children in a school, nursery, childcare or similar setting.
- Genuine passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships.

- Full‑time, temporary contract with immediate or September start dates.
- Competitive daily rate (£92.60‑£100).
