About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive team in the London Borough of Haringey. The position starts in September 2026 and is full‑time, covering term‑time only.
Key responsibilities
- Support learning activities across the school, including whole‑class cover when needed.
- Assist teachers with planning, preparation and assessment tasks.
- Deliver targeted interventions to help pupils progress.
- Work closely with children of varying abilities, especially those with special educational needs.
- Contribute to a positive learning environment and provide 1:1 support where required.
Required profile
- Minimum of 1 year experience supporting students with SEN.
- Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
- Confidence in leading groups and delivering instruction.
- Passion for supporting children’s learning and collaborative teamwork.
